New funding secured for schemes in Skipton

Schemes in Skipton and elsewhere across North Yorkshire have secured £31.2m funding from the Department for Transport's Transforming Cities Fund (TCF).

The proposals include transforming the entrance to Skipton train station, creating a new cycle lane along Broughton Road and making improvements to pedestrian routes between the train station, Craven Auction Mart and Craven College. 

A consultation has now been launched and a virtual drop-in session will be held today at 6pm and on Thursday 11 March at 6pm. Your feedback can be used to help shape the final scheme. Click on the link below to find out more:
