Rt Hon Sir Julian Smith KCB CBE MP visited R A Medical Services Ltd on Friday, 4 July, to meet with staff and leadership at the company’s new premises at Sandylands Business Centre in Skipton.
During the visit, Julian was welcomed by CEO Janet Pickles, Managing Director Michael Pickles, Director David Pickles and company founder Christopher Pickles. Julian was given a tour of the company’s newly refurbished facility, including the downstairs workshop, storage areas, and upper-level offices and training rooms.
R A Medical Services Ltd is a family-founded business established in 1994, and is a leading provider of inhalation sedation equipment and services.
Commenting on his visit, Julian said, “It was a great to visit R A Medical Services and see first-hand the incredible work being done in Skipton. I was pleased to learn about their work with local suppliers and the expansion of their business both at home and abroad."
The company recently relocated to its new site to accommodate growth and expand its services, including plans to offer training in the use of its specialist equipment.
