The £926,000 refurbishment project, which was initiated under the leadership of the Conservative Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, Zoë Metcalfe, will provide improved facilities for both the public and the emergency services staff, ensuring a better working environment and enhanced service delivery for residents.
At 12:15pm today (3 March) David Skaith, York and North Yorkshire Mayor will cut the ribbon, to mark the official opening of the building.
Commenting, Julian said: "It is fantastic to see the completion of the refurbishment of Ripon's police and fire station. This project is a testament to our dedication to enhancing community safety and supporting our emergency services. Whilst I could not attend the opening in person due to my work in Parliament, I fully support this vital initiative and the positive impact it will have on our community."
