Rt Hon Sir Julian Smith KCB CBE MP has visited Broughton Life Sciences at its headquarters on the Broughton Hall Estate near Skipton to learn more about the company's work supporting the development of life-enhancing healthcare products and its contribution to the region's growing life sciences sector.
During the visit, Julian met with Chief Executive Officer Chris Allen, Quality Director Emmet Tilley, Marketing Manager Wayne Silver, and members of the Broughton team.
He received a presentation on the company's history and growth before touring the laboratory facilities and observing analytical testing processes in action.
Founded in 2006, Broughton Life Sciences is an independent UK life sciences testing laboratory and consultancy. The company works with clients across the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, providing analytical testing, scientific expertise and regulatory support to help bring products to market safely and efficiently.
Following the visit, Julian said, "It was great to visit Broughton Life Sciences and meet the team at their Broughton Hall site.
