Rt Hon Sir Julian Smith KCB CBE MP is delighted to announce the launch of his Local Pub Awards 2025, a new initiative to celebrate the outstanding pubs and publicans across his Skipton and Ripon constituency.
Running until 19 August, the competition invites constituents to nominate their favourite local establishments in a range of categories.
The categories are as follows:
- Best Pub
- Staff Member of the Year
- Best High Street Pub
- Best Rural Pub
Constituents can vote once for one pub per category, and nominations should be sent by email to [email protected] along with the constituent’s address.
Commenting, Julian said: “Our local pubs are at the heart of our communities. This summer, I want to shine a spotlight on the people and places that make our constituency such a great place to live and visit.”
Winners will be announced later in the summer following closure of the competition on 19 August.
Constituents can check their local pub is within the Skipton and Ripon constituency by entering the postcode at https://members.parliament.uk/FindYourMP.
